Join Dorian Wood and students of WGST 420/801 Sexualities: Theories and Practices as she discusses and presents her work. Dorian’s presentation will address her intent of “infecting” spaces and ideologies with her artistic practice to challenge traditions and systems that have contributed to the marginalization of people.

Following her talk, Dorian will give a vocal workshop. How do we unravel our vocal insecurities? When we release our truest voice into the open, what happens within ourselves, to the hosting space, and to those around us? Multidisciplinary artist and experimental vocalist Dorian Wood invites voices of all kinds to join in a series of practices and conversations that explore what lies beyond the immediate perceptions of our expressive sonic selves. Comfy clothes recommended.

Students and public are welcome to attend both the talk and the workshop. Workshop is limited to 20 people. Please email volunteer.at.qcc@gmail.com to register.
